Preparations under way for Dalgety Bay Gala 2010

It may only be February, but plans are already under way for one of Dalgety Bay's biggest days of the year - the annual Gala Day.

Dalgety Bay Gala 2010 will be on Saturday 12th June 2010 from 1:15pm to 4:30pm, with walking procession leaving the Dalgety Bay church car park at 12:45pm. The chosen theme for Gala 2010 is "SCOTLAND" - celebrating our nation, culture, customs, history, events, foods, traditions, buildings, famous people, music etc.

Bookings are being taken for craft stalls and community stalls - please book early to reserve your stall. Contact Debi Robinson, Chairperson for a booking form if you have not already received one.

The Gala committee is also pleased to announce that 'Fantoosh' will be playing once again at our fund-raising Ceilidh on Friday 11th June 2010 6.30-10pm. Round Table will be in charge of the Bar as usual.

If you wish to provisionally reserve a ticket for this popular event please contact Debi Robinson. Ticket prices remain the same as in 2009 - Family £24, Adult £8, Child £4. Don't delay in booking your tickets. They are going very fast now.

The next meeting of Dalgety Bay Gala Committee will be held on Wednesday 24th March from 8-9pm in the Parish Hall.
