Funding cuts threaten Dalgety Bay bus services

  • Bus services between Dalgety Bay and Dunfermline could be cut to three an hour
Bus services between Dalgety Bay and Dunfermline are under threat following cuts to a public subsidy to Stagecoach from the Scottish Government.

The cutbacks mean that the 80 service from Dunfermline to Dalgety Bay via Duloch Park could be reduced from four buses an hour to three, amongst a number of other services under threat across the area.

There could also be cuts to the services from Dunfermline to Glasgow.

The threat to the services was outlined in a meeting between Dunfermline West MSP Jim Tolson and Stagecoach East of Scotland manager Steve Walker.
