Dalgety Bay gala poster winners go online

  • Rachael Howard's entry was chosen as the winner of the Dalgety Bay Gala programme cover competition
After a difficult judging process, looking through a lot of very high quality entries for the annual gala programme and poster competitions, Dalgety Bay's Gala committee have selected the winners.

The gala committee had great fun judging all the fantastic pictures that were submitted by the Bay school children for the poster/ programme competition.

This year the competition was tough and the committee could not choose between the final three for the poster so for the first time we have decided to go with three poster winners and one programme cover winner.

The winning programme cover entry was drawn by Rachael Howard, and her entry will grace the cover of the programme for the Gala on Satuday 12th June. The three winning poster entries were by Lucy Browning, Cameron Jones and Debbie Pryce.

There were so many imaginative pictures depicting the gala theme of SCOTLAND - some great looking haggis playing bagpipes; IrnBru and whisky much in evidence; Nessies; St Andrew flags as well as some dubious looking thistles. Even Gordon Brown featured in one of the pictures!
