Cocker calendar half way stage

Dalgety Based photographer David Cruickshanks is half way through photographing the Cocker Spaniels for his 2011 Calendar.

Tiffin, the three year old Cocker (pictured) from Moray Park is his latest addition and David is delighted with the results so far. "All the Cockers have been great fun, they all have their own personalities, some are a bit mischevious, others will pose to order. I'm looking forward to the second half and then getting the calendar ready for printing."

David who has been commissioned by Insight Guides to provide all of the photography for their 2011 guidebook is having a tremendous year in business but always tries to do his bit for charity "I am press officer for the Fife Veterans Association and that keeps me busy publicising the needs of veterans in Fife, I am also doing a calendar to help raise funds for the Fife Veterans as well as helping to raise money for the PDSA through my Cocker Calendar.

I am hoping that lots of people in the Bay will buy this calendar and try to spot their local dogs when out walking around the town. David is hoping to have his Cocker calendar for sale online on his web site www.davidcruickshanksphotography.com and in the shops by September with a donation from each one sold going to the PDSA.
