Dalgety Bay Playgroup

Dalgety Bay Playgroup has been part of the local community since 1968, providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the local parish church.  It is registered with the Care Commission and is inspected annually. 

We provide a safe, secure and happy environment where children over 2yrs 10mnths can have lots of fun and take part in many different activities including:

  • Arts & Crafts,   
  • Outdoor Play
  • Sand & Water Play
  • Painting
  • Dressing Up
  • Reading Corner
  • Singing
  • Imaginative Play
  • Games
  • Snacks Times
  • Baking
  • Visitor Talks

Playgroup is a great way for little ones to learn through play and gives parents/carers a break too! You don’t need to live in Dalgety Bay to come along and join in the fun – everyone is welcome! Sessions are held in Dalgety Parish Church:

Mon-Fri 9.30-12pm ith wrap around lunch club 12-1pm

Open during school term time.

Afternoon sessions are temporarily suspended but we hope to re-start these soon. Please let us know if you are interested and we will add your name to our waiting list. 

Fife Council funded places are available from 3yrs and unfunded places are charged £5.50 per session. You choose which sessions and how many your child attends.

We also offer a lunch club, 12-1pm, where children can bring a packed lunch and stay an extra hour for only £3. A walking taxi is also provided to collect children from Dalgety Bay Nursery and bring them to Playgroup for an additional £1.50 (that’s 31/2hrs of childcare for £10!).
